Some speak of the Witch of Everfree, a pony who is shrouded in mystery and the strange shadows of the dark Forest. Some only speak her name in fear, but those who have beheld her and felt the warmth of her hearth know that behind her exotic beauty beats a heart as warm as any in Equestria, and a soul keen and wise beyond her years.
Her name is Zecora, and to her friends she is the good Witch of Everfree.

It's finally finished! And man am I happy with it.
I think it's appropriate that it took so long for me to finish it, since now this can be my nightmare Night picture. Because what is more fitting for the season than Zecora? It was a new exercise in lighting and trying out different colouring techniques that i'm quite happy with! She's looking very elegant here doesn't she? I really lover Zecora, and I like to imagine her as much older than the rest of the main cast, and this pic kind of shows her as a very controlled and wise while having that knowing smirk.
I hope you guys like it! I had a lot of fun drawing it, try and pick out all the details.

Vision Originality
Technique ImpactGreat work must say I watched many Zecora portraits but this is very original. That play of shadow and light gives atmosphere of mystery to the drawing, You also draw very well the voodoo/African details (the amulets and feathers look very good). but my favourite part is face, Eyes are deep and their colour is great. I wish that all portraits I see look like this I only don't like the pipe because it don't fit's the African style of the picture (I know that African tribes don't use pipes).. If your inspiration where the tribes generally then the pipes is ok
